The world is an interesting place; it’s a beautiful and complicated world that we live in. I like to hope that for the most part we all are striving to make the world a better place. There are so many organizations out there that have great intentions with a goal in mind to make a difference. Unfortunately, good intentions don’t always translate to good results. You see in my experience with nonprofit work in the past there have been times when, we have accidentally done more harm than good. I want to be clear and state that solving a problem in society isn’t necessarily easy. I use to travel to Mexico quite often to help with communities that were very poor. We would supply food and school materials for the kids. What we didn’t realize at the time was that we many of the families ended up selling the supplies just to make ends meet. What thing that we also learned was that small business owners were sometimes losing profit instead making profit. They were not keeping any book work or tracking their cost and expenses so that they could identify areas where they needed to improve. There’s a saying that you build a man a fire he will be warm for a night but teach him how to build a fire and he will be warm for many. That is why we need a different approach, and one company that I believe has the solution is Lift the World society., I recommended that you invest into this company because they are great at listening to people in need.

 

My organizations mission is to empower those people in need. We take a bottom to top approach where we identify the core issues and try to solve them from there. We take a holistic approach, where we identify locations around the globe that are in need. We focus with a couple of families or communities and go from there. The key is to first listen and try to understand the person. We would first make sure that the community has access to water. Then we would send a team of medical professionals to make sure that any people that have trouble accessing health care are taken care of. After that we would send a team to help individuals grow and learn about different fields that he or she may be able to excel in. I there is a person that needs help with finance, or bookkeeping, or even with learning different computer capabilities we can help.

 

It would be in the best interest for AMDP to invest in my company, because we all want to make the world a better place. We need a hands on approach we need to be there in person, to look people in the eyes and to be able to tell them we are listening, we understand, we care, and you are not alone.

  Random Post #1 Powerlifitng   Growing up I was always in to playing sports. I played almost every sport from football, soccer, baseball, basketball, boxing, and even gave hockey a try (it only lasted about week). I would say I was decent in every sport that I played. I never was this athletic freak, and I wasn’t the biggest, but I would say I had speed. As I got older though I no longer had speed as an advantage, because the competition I started facing had size, power, and speed. After high school I didn’t play in organized sports and instead turned to going to the gym. I mainly went just to be fit and look good, but my sophomore year at USC that all changed.   The Final Days at USC     Time flies by when you’re having fun! These last couple of years at the University of Southern California, have been a dream come true for me.   USC was my dream school ever since I can remember, and I told myself that one day I was going to be a Trojan. I still remember the day that I found out that I had been accepted into USC, and now graduation is only about a month away. For my last random post, I want to reflect on my time at USC and talk about what I have learned and touch upon some of my highlights.   In May, I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in theater. Looking back, I am happy with the path I selected. I was able to experience two completely different fields.
